Our teams have developed the Stratagem 4500 for the carp angler looking for a light, compact reel that is powerful, reliable, elegant and customisable!The Stratagem 4500 is a light, compact and powerful carp reel. We have designed it for use with a 9 or 10 foot rod in order to produce an assembly that is comfortable and easy to handle.

2 LINE CLIPS

Our Spring Line Clip (SLC) is a smart line clip featuring a spring. This has been designed to preserve your line during “clip-on” fishing by absorbing the shock generated at the end of casting. The Spring Line Clip also improves fishing comfort for maximum peace and confidence while fishing.

The Stratagem also features a classic line clip. Using two line clips turns out to be really practical for usage, especially to clip two distances during surveying and/or baiting.

The Stratagem comes with 8 stickers designed to be placed on 2 distinct parts the reel:

1/ The reel line clip

2/ The reel’s back screw

Colours of the 8 stickers provided: 2 x “red” – 2 x “green” – 2 x “yellow” – 2 x “blue”

NYLON / BRAIDED LINE CAPACITY

– Nylon capacity:
330 metres of 0.30 mm
240 metres of 0.35 mm
185 metres of 0.40 mm

– Braided line capacity:
270 metres of 0.25 mm

– Why can we put more nylon in a braid with an equivalent diameter? Because the surface of the nylon is totally smooth and the perfect cross winds on the spool: the winding is optimised.
